A Sweet Blend Event

The Musgrave Marketplace Ballymun Dublin recently conducted a Summer Drinks Workshop in partnership with MONIN Syrups and Liqueurs, Ireland , last April 16th, 2019, which was participated with FIPDes, Cohort 8 students.

Four FIPDes students namely Andres Moreno, Nawapan Boonchum, Eugenia Asamoah, and Roxanne Targa learned how to prepare different drinks and smoothies using the MONIN products (syrups and frappe) as demonstrated by Laura Molloy, the Brand Ambassador.
A wide variety of drinks were presented which included strawberries and cream, piña colada, caramel popcorn, and many others, which were all evaluated as acceptable and delicious. The students were also requested to make their own formulation of the shakes based on their preference. The flavours made were vanilla kiwi by Eugenia, chocolate strawberry by Nawapan and piña colada by Roxanne. In conclusion, the demonstrator gave advice on how to effectively use MONIN products in future research and development projects or in their own future businesses. This was a very interactive moment that has given us ideas on how to work with different flavours to result in excellent food products.
