On 29 August, FIPDes students from cohort 12 visited Tetra Pak in Lund to get a glimpse of the well-known packaging company. Students got a chance to see the product room with examples of Tetra Pak packages from all over the world, some even from the students’ home countries. There was also a sustainability presentation and an overall overview of the company. The day ended with a visit to see the production lines, where a Tetra Pak-employed trainer showed the possibilities with the companies’ different filling and packaging machines. The site visit was a part of the Lund University Orientation weeks, where students get an introduction to Lund, to living in Sweden and to their forthcoming studies.
